Have a seat...

As a society we find ourselves sitting so much of our day. We sit when we drive. We sit to eat. Many of us sit for our jobs. We also sit for entertainment of tv, movies, visiting with friends, and much more. It has been suggested to us that sitting is relaxing to our bodies and it usually feels that way but an excessive amount of sitting is actually hurting us. I have talked to many people struggling with low back/hip pain and neck pain that tracks back to lots of sitting. In this link Sue Hitzmann, the creater of The Melt Method, explains how the body reacts to sitting and ways to counter act it: https://www.thehealthy.com/exercise/dead-butt-syndrome/
